What To Expect When you enter into the shop, you feel as if you have stepped into another time, another place.  Your worries, troubles and stress are left at the door.  I warmly greet you and guide you to pick out your music CD for the session.

You enter the Massage Therapy Room and take a deep breath, enjoying the fresh scent of lavender and other essential oils, chosen especially for you, to further relax your mind.

The flicker of candlelight lets the tension around your eyes relax and slowly fade away.

You hear the gentle sounds of nature - birds chirping in the twilight, flutes floating on the breeze, the splashing of waves on the beach - welcome you into this little retreat.

Gingerly, you slide under warm flannel sheets, slowly stretching out on the table.  Take a deep breath and sigh.

A soft bolster is placed under your knees to further ease the tension in your lower back.  A warm rice roll is placed under your neck instantly relaxing your shoulders and head.

Warm Sesame Seed Oil is used to hydrate and nourish thirsty skin, as it helps to decrease the inflammation of joints while calming and soothing irritated, dry and chapped skin.

Your body is massaged, beginning with the scalp and face, working down to the neck and shoulders.  Arms and hands are manipulated to release the tension.  Legs, knees, feet are stretched, kneaded and pounded.  Muscles remember how to relax.

Sixty or ninety minutes later, I wake you up.  I thank you for trusting me to relax enough to fall asleep during our session.

After you dress and come back out to the waiting room, I hand you a fresh bottle of water, reminding you to keep hydrated.

Yes, you DID snore.

No, I won't tell!
